Altai Tavan Bogd National Park is one of the must-visit National parks of Mongolia also called the ” Five Saints” in English.

It covers 6362 square km and is located on the Tavan Bogd, the highest mountains of Mongolia in the western corner. There are more than 5 glaciers in the area, shrinking bit by bit over the years. The protected area is home to mountain sheep Argali, Ibex, red deer moose, snow cock, and many more.

It also includes several thousand petroglyphs and Turcic monuments which are World Heritage sites of UNESCO.

There are several hundreds of local Golden Eagle Hunters that live in this region.
