Baga Gazriin Chuluu is an area of picturesque granite formations in the middle of the Gobi at an elevation of 1773m. You can reach these unique mountains with a 4-5 hours drive south of Ulaanbaatar city.

The area of the formations has many wild games that you might get a glimpse of. For example mountain sheep, white-tailed gazelle, hare, and many more.

Moreover, you can have an enjoyable walk and hike to the amazing locations scattered around the area.  For instance, the lama’s secret settlement was created during the 1930s Great repression in Mongolia. Also, a small “eye” spring is good for the eyesight of its drinkers and a hidden cave among the rocks. At Baga Gazriin Chuluu your day will be filled with activities around the mountains.
