Flaming Cliffs Bayanzag

Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs, also known as Red cliffs in the Gobi, are famous for having several remains of dinosaur skeletons and eggs discovered from its area. The name Flaming Cliffs come directly from the cliff’s appearance. They look as if they are on fire during certain times of the day, such as sunset and sunrise. These times make this destination a perfect place for photo shooting.

“New York Nature History Museum” sent a few famous expeditions with Roy Chapman Andrews to discover these archeological treasures in Mongolia in the 1920s.

In addition to its treasured discoveries, you can have enjoyable short walks around the area of Bayanzag Cliffs. In 2020 this area was updated with an information center and several safety platforms by local authorities for sustainability. Subsequently, more travelers and locals can now visit this stunning wonder of nature without damaging or harming its structure.
