Since 2012, Nomadic Trails has been running winter journeys in Mongolia, working directly with the Reindeer tribe. In 2023, we launched the Reindeer Festival to celebrate and preserve their culture and traditions. Today, the local government actively organizes the festival, ensuring it continues for future generations.
I had the pleasure of joining the Reindeer Festival in Northern Mongolia, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The landscapes of the taiga, the unique cultural heritage of the Tsaatan reindeer herders, and the genuine warmth of the people made a deep impression on me. It was a privilege to witness such vibrant traditions still being lived with pride and dignity. This journey was not only beautiful, but meaningful. I leave Northern Mongolia with great admiration and lasting memories.
